NCRF, located in the Seattle, Washington area, exists to promote the exchange of information, ideas, plans and policies in the field of total rewards trends and practices. NCRF also supports the education efforts and objectives of WorldatWork, the leading international association of compensation, benefits and total rewards professionals.
TRPDX is a Local Network affiliate of WorldatWork. They were established in 1990 for the purpose of promoting excellence and innovation for compensation and benefits professionals in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and this is still true today. Their goal is to engage our members by providing the latest in industry resources, professional development, and a place to network.
Mary Tomblinson | President, Northwest Compensation & Rewards Forum NCRF
Mary Tomblinson is a passionate Human Resources leader specializing in strategic planning and tactical execution of people solutions. Offering HR operational leadership in everything from Total Rewards programs to employment compliance, Mary's strengths include an innate ability to adapt and translate business needs into successful programs.
With two decades of global Human Resources experience at creative and innovative organizations in the US and Canada, Mary is an HR operations professional who loves to look ahead, collaborate with other HR professionals, and continually provide agility within the human resources field to meet the ever evolving landscape of the world in which we work. To that end, Mary serves on the board of directors of the Northwest Compensation & Rewards Forum as well as leveraging her HR expertise on the board of SMASH: Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare.
Mary continues her professional evolution in her current role heading up Human Resources at McKinley Irvin in downtown Seattle.
Karin Young | Staff Compensation Manager, Perkins Coie; Special Projects and Surveys Board Member, NCRF
Karin recently joined the law firm Perkins Coie as their Staff Compensation Manager. Prior to joining the Perkin's Human Resources Department, Karin spent 11 years as an HR and Compensation Consultant. She started her consulting career at the accounting firm of KPMG in their Compensation and Benefits tax group. From there, Karin moved into human resources consulting, working at the consulting firms of Mercer and Milliman, where she consulted on both executive and broad based compensation issues such as, base pay analysis, incentive plan review and design, equity incentive plans, salary structure design, and various other compensation and performance development issues. Karin joined the NCRF board in the spring of 2015 as the new Special Projects and Survey board member. Karin is a native of Pacific NW where she graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Willamette University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate and the University of Washington School of Law with a Masters of Law (LL.M) in Taxation.
Angela Dunn CCP, PHR | Senior Compensation Analyst, Columbia Sportswear; President, TRPDX
Angela Dunn started her career in Human Resources 10 years ago. She is an advocate for furthering Total Rewards initiatives to improve process and procedure efficiency and effectiveness, as well as discovering ways to enhance workforce performance. Angela is currently a Senior Compensation Analyst at Columbia Sportswear, supporting Global Retail, Sales and eCommerce groups and has served on the TRPDX board since 2018 performing various roles.
Jenny Marks | Vice President, Health Solutions, Aon
Jenny Marks is a vice president and a strategy consultant within Aon’s health solutions practice. In this capacity she leads health and welfare strategy consulting and ongoing plan management work for our largest and most complex clients. As the Health Solutions client lead, Jenny will have overall responsibility for the consulting work we provide Stanford Health Care. Prior to joining Aon, Jenny was a senior health and welfare consultant at Willis Towers Watson. She first began working in the industry in 1994 and has significant experience working with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients, public sector and global organizations. She has worked with employers and plan sponsors in several industries including retail/wholesale, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, consumer goods, transportation/logistics and public sector.
